Kobato., CLAMP's 2009 anime, is one of their most heart warming tales. The story revolves around a young woman, Kobato, who exists in a liminal state. She is given one year to live, from Spring to Spring, and in this time, she must aid enough humans so that her wish will be granted. This section covers artwork from the first six episodes, or the Spring season. Kobato arrives as the blooming cherry trees reach their peak. The first episodes introduce the viewer to the characters that will play a central role in Kobato's world, as well as exposing the viewer to the problems of the human world through Kobato's eyes. Sadly, production artwork from Kobato is difficult to find as most of it was thrown away. Several backgrounds in this section have been damaged because someone tried to fit them into a circular bin.
