Syaoran, in an attempt to flee an awkward question asked while viewing a romantic movie, has gone to get drinks. As he opens the door to leave the room, Syaoran encounters "The Dream" entitity. He enters another room where 'The Dream' is showing Syaoran what truly matters to him by modifying the plot of the movie he was watching to convey what is in Syaoran's heart. In this particular scene, Syaoran is watching as the movie version of himself is handing over his Clow Cards to the movie version of Sakura out of love. Syaoran is not only shocked that he is willingly giving up the cards he fought so hard to capture, but that he is starting to fall in love with Sakura. This is probably one of the most detailed layout sketches that I own from this episode. I really like this particular layout sketch. From Episode 40 - Sakura to Yume no Naka no Sakura (Sakura and the Sakura from the Dream).
