Meilin pouts as Syaoran yells at her for forcing their guardian to use his abilities to locate her, and for him to have come out late at night to rescue her.

It's a shame that this background didn't come with its matching layout. This particular background, though, was used as the token starry night sky throughout the episode.

Episode 20 is when Meilin shows up. Meilin has spent most of her life by Syaoran's side, continually training in martial arts in order to help him as his future wife. While she initially is brash and abrasive, after becoming friends with her 'rival', Sakura, she gradually mellows out and becomes a good friend. Kero, of course, wastes no time insulting Meilin, calling her a "kid" and explaining how rare it is for Meilin, a member of the extended Li Family, to have no magical powers.
