I met Koji Morimoto at the 2015 J-Pop Summit at Fort Mason in San Francisco, California. Those of you who know me are well aware of how much I hate driving into SF. The roads are a pain to navigate, parking is impossible to find (and expensive when you do) and I'd honestly rather experience a root canal than go there. But...a couple of friends coerced me to make the 3 hour 1-way trip to Fort Mason, and I did so on the first day of the two day event.

Morimoto was a great guy, going so far as to draw two sketches for everyone in line. The first time around, he drew whatever he wanted, but on the second trip, he took requests.
