As the cherry blossom petals float down from the trees, Kobato begins to sing her song for the crying child.

This is one of the more complicated backgrounds created for this particular episode that I own, consisting of about five different layers. Some portions are recycled and were used in other portions of the episode, such as the sakura flowers. This is the type of background artwork that makes me question why a studio would just trash everything; there was a lot of work placed into making the flowers, just to have it thrown away.
