Meeting Kakinuma was the highlight of Otakon Vegas for me. I never realized that Toshio Furukawa, the voice of Piccolo, was married to Kakinuma. Despite seeing her at several cons in the past when Furukawa was a guest, I did not make the connection nor think to ask her to sign anything. She was dressed as Piccolo and seemed surprised to have anyone ask her for her autograph, despite being an official guest.
