Minaguchi was a special guest at Animazement in 2013. After the disappointing line-ip that Fanime had in 2013, I opted to skip it and instead head across the country to this small convention in North Carolina. I was very pleased with the experience. This shikishi was signed on the last day, and was something I got with the help of a friend. We lined up very early for this special autograph session labeled as the "Dragonball" autograph session as Minaguchi would be present. Even though we were there about 3 hours before the autograph session, we were around 80 in line, and the line was cut off at 100. We had heard that there was a rabid protest outside as many fans who wanted an autograph were turned away, and were upset because they had attended the panel the day before and were turned away then as well.
