Sketch featuring Wild Tiger from Tiger & Bunny ( タイガー&バニー ), drawn and signed by doujinka Mamoru Yokota ( 横田 守 ). Mamoru Yokota was one of the guests of honor at PMX in 2012. So, I'm kinda ashamed to admit that I troll Yokota's Twitter feed often, especially when he's been announced as a guest for a convention that I plan to attend. During one YJ search, I noticed that Yokota had released a Tiger & Bunny doujinshi called Dark Knight. Thinking that it would be kinda nifty to show up to the con with some of his doujinshi in hand, I picked up a copy of Dark Knight. Nosebleed! Yeah, it was pretty hot. Taiga-sama as the seme? Yes please~! PMX rolls around, and Yokota, realizing that the majority of people that came to see him were the same people that troll him every other convention, decided that the only artwork he would do was on commission only. And hey, I already had several sketches from several of the anime that Yokota worked on, so, my request was Kotetsu's alter-ego, Dark Tiger. When I requested it, Yokota was originally stumped as to what exactly to draw, but when I flashed the doujinshi at him, he managed to pull this out. Apparently he was okay with drawing pervy stuff for women, but refused to do the same for DrScorpio once Yokota brought up the possibility of drawing a panty-shot Haruhi Suzumiya. Though, he seemed to be in an odd mood. After calling me a 'fujoshi' ( As if I'd be offended by that), he ripped into another attendee who wanted his opinion regarding his artwork. Yokota flat out told him that he sucked. (sigh) And the man wonders why he's still single... Anyways, Yokota seemed to be pleased with this drawing, and posted it on his Twitter feed on November 13. His comment was this - で、まさか海外でこれとは、、、同人誌みたらしいWhich translates to speculation that we've seen his doujinshi abroad. Pfft...please. Modesty is not your virtue, Yokota-sensei.
