In lieu of another artist, MangaGamer brought over a voice actress to AX 2012. Tamiyasu was very friendly, and held several autograph panels at the MangaGamer booth. During the MangaGamer panel, Tamiyasu had on a pair of necomimi, the cat eared device that moves according to your brain waves (or so the box claims). Though the panel was mostly dedicated to MangaGamer's upcoming releases, there was time for two questions. One of which, fielded by MangaGamer's boss, Bamboo, was "What would you say if I told you that I jack off to your voice?" When this question was translated into Japanese, Tamiyasu's cat ears, which had been drooping down by her head, shot up and twitched. She tried to respond with a stiffled "Thank you", but everyone who had watched the ears knew exactly what she was thinking.

I'm all for guests being forced to wear necomimi at cons now. Heehee.
