Domoto tries to cheer up Fujimoto, who is busy working in the frigid weather. Fujimoto, definitely not in the Festivus spirit, responds that he could care less.

Episode 19, and its following episode, draw upon the memories of the two main characters, Kobato and her coworker, Fujimoto. This particular episode exposes the trauma that Fujimoto experienced in his past, and why he has such a cold disposition.

II really like that the background artists went for a European market feel for the sequence.
