"Kobato-chan?"

"Domoto."

After finishing work, Kobato talks to Ioryogi, her talking blue stuffed dog sidekick. She's concerned about Fujimoto and wonders why it seems like he's so angry with her. Ioryogi reminds her that, as it's now Winter and Kobato has yet to fill up the bottle, she doesn't have the time to worry about this. Kobato's discussion is only distracted by Domoto's presence.

Episode 19, and its following episode, draw upon the memories of the two main characters, Kobato and her coworker, Fujimoto. This particular episode exposes the trauma that Fujimoto experienced in his past, and why he has such a cold disposition.

It's such a shame that the majority of layouts, especially those that were produced in-house, are either partial copies or complete copies. This particular layout was farmed out to another studio, and is an example of the partial copies that are quite prevelant with Kobato artwork.
