What can I say...I'm a sucker for fanservice anime, especially if that just happens to feature a very studly redhead. Yeah, I could care less about Echizen...but Tezuka-taijo...yes please! Oh, what's that you say? It's not a fanservice anime? Really?! So Japanese men enjoy watching other men get all hot and sweaty in the name of tennis? Really Really?! Then... I must live in this country!

Ishii has worked on several well known anime such as Neon Genesis Evangelion and Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicles, usually as a key animator or as a director. However, he's probably best known for his work on Prince of Tennis.
