Ran is more of a secondary character in the Edelweiss franchise, but, popular enough to end up in the second Edelweiss game. Ran is more concerned with making money not involving her direct participation in the 'oldest profession in the world'. She's somewhat aloof, preferring the company of money to that of a large group of people.

(sighs) Yeah...it figures that the redhead would *have* to be the gold digger....Oh well, considering that this this is an eroge, the alternative could be a lot worse...

Katakura was my personal favorite of the artists that went to Anime Expo 2010. Every time I would receive my sketch from him, I was really impressed with his work. It seemed like he put a lot of time and effort into his work, especially if you bought the colored version.
