Sailormoon begins to summon the Holy Grail in order to save Hotaru from Mistress 9.

During a brief interruption of Mistress 9''s posession of Hotaru''s body, Hotaru tells her father that the only way to save her body is for Sailor Moon to give her the Holy Chalice. Wanting to save Hotaru, Sailor Moon summons the grail as Sailor Uranus and Neptune plead with her not to surrender it. Despite Neptune and Uranus' cries that Sailor Moon is not the messiah and has no right to use the grail, Sailor Moon is determine to save Hotaru.

This cel has an interesting set-up. The sequence features roughly three to four bottom layers. Sailor Moon''s mouth is controlled by a top layer that just features the skin portion of her face. This particular cel came with its bottom layer and a top facial layer.
