Shielded by Seiya, Usagi's feelings for Seiya turn from friendship into love.

Throughout the second arc of the Sailorstars season, the viewer is presented with a friendly, if somewhat commical, relationship between Seiya and Usagi. Seiya appears to be infatuated with Usagi, but, even into episode 200, Usagi appears to be clueless as to Seiya's true intent. However, it's this one particular scene in Episode 181 that makes me question the notion that Usagi was truly ignorant to the fact that Seiya was in love with her, and even more importantly, if she did not have some feelings for him.

When I saw this on Yahoo Japan in September 2006, I was floored that this cel was being auctioned. It was a wishlist cel in that it was one of the only sequences that challenged the notion of Usagi's ignorance. I was more surprised to win it despite being at the academy(and having limited access to the computer). I'm not sure how I lucked out in winning this when cels from the "date" episode are in high demand, but, I'm thankful to have won.
