This cel is from one of the last scenes before Usagi steps up to her role as the Soldier of Justice, Sailor Moon. She's had a rough day - late to class(as usual), had to thwart Umino's advances and having her 30% score on her math test not only discovered by her overbearing mother but an attractive guy that she accidentally threw her shoe at. Meeting Luna, the purple cat that Usagi befriended earlier, marks the first step in her gradual transformation. Usagi's personality greatly differs from the Episode 1 Usagi and the Episode 200 Usagi. As the emphasis of my collection is Episode 200, it's nice to have a cel that serves as a point of reference.
