Usagi Tsukino transforms into the Soldier of Justice, Sailormoon.

So, there's a story to this cel...

In 1995, I discovered a wonderful little anime store in Fremont, California known as "Beaman's". As I passed by, I begged my mom to take me inside so that I could get some Sailormoon stuff. Once inside, I was amazed with how much anime there was and how incredibly well detailed and drop-dead gorgeous some of the artwork was. Not having much money at the time, I went to one of the card vending machines and popped in a quarter. Lo and behold, a shiny prismatic sticker card of a scene one cel before this exact cel popped out. I was so amazed with the detail of the card - It was unlike anything else I'd seen produced stateside. It was that particular card that got me hooked on the whole Sailormoon card collecting hobby, and it's ironic that 10 years after that day, I picked up this absolutely gorgeous cel.

This particular cel was used throughout the Sailormoon R season as well as the first Sailormoon movie.
