Sonoko, the leader of the Tenth Street High's softball team and the most popular sempai in school, is disgusted that Seiya has chosen to hang out with a dimwitted girl like Usagi. She, along with the rest of her fan club, challenge Seiya to a softball match. Should Usagi win, Seiya can continue his relationship with Usagi, however, should Sonoko win, Seiya can no longer speak to Usagi.

It's amazing how many barriers were present in Seiya and Usagi's relationship - almost as many as those that were present with Usagi and her boyfriend, Mamoru. I feel that that is one of the reasons why Usagi does care for Seiya, because, in many ways, both men are very similiar. Even Usagi realizes this as can be seen here, but, this aspect of their relationship is largely glossed over in the anime.

I think I purchased this cel because I love that expression on her face - I get like that at work, too.
